A Jackal And His Lawyer - Book 2

In the continuation of this fantasy adventure, Jack the jackal, Kort the crow and Luke the cat - armed now with information regarding the dangers that threaten the very existence of their world - resume their travels through a landscape of quirky characters and dazzling marvels.

The tone shifts gears a little in Part Two as our plucky trio begin to focus on their quest. Forces of immense power and evil stalk the land, threatening all within their path... can these three oddball animals really save the day?

Once again we are in the territory of Francisco's weird and whacky imagination. Our heroes encounter a series of problems, obstacles and setbacks, overcoming them with courage, ingenuity and - in the case of Kort, the chubby crow who is forever mistaken for an owl - the powers of logic and reasoning inherent to a keenly-honed legal mind.

The story is a combination of traditional children's fantasy tales, with comical talking animals and magic, plus a touch of the battle epics of myth and legend and the glittering wonder of science fiction.

There are more serious threads woven into the tapestry this time around; our heroes face dangers and creatures in need of help - whom they do their best to save, being moved at all times by unquestioning compassion. But they cannot save everyone.

The stakes are high and the odds seem to be against them. Our furry and feathered friends must rise to the challenge, or all is lost...
